So I thought we had decided but I guess my hubby isn't sure.

Which do you like better?

Calvin Merrill or Milo Alvin

Both middle names are family names.

We are having a boy in June. We have decided on Calvin Merrill.

My husband's grandpa was named Alvin so Calvin is in honor of him. Merrill was my grandpa.

My daughter is 2.5 yrs old and she throws her diaper away every morning (potty trained except at night), generally cleans up after herself (throws away her own garbage, puts dishes in the sink when done, puts her clothes in the hamper etc), helps put away her laundry and has just started putting the siverware into the drawer from the dishwasher.

She is the age to love helping and 'helps ' me with other things as well. I am just wondering if this is average or if I expect a lot from her. I want to instill a good work ethic in her. Don't worry though -her work all adds up to 15 minutes or less total per day!

I know women often show faster during the second pregnancy but does that mean that you will be bigger by the end as well? Or does it kind of even off to about the same size as the first pregnancy? I know every woman and pregnancy is different but curious how it worked out for other moms.

I am 16 weeks with my second and slightly bigger than the first time. Just hoping my belly doesn't get too much bigger than the first time - it was already heavy enough =)

I first noticed the itchiness last night but didn't really look at it until this morning. There are about 2 dozen pinkish red pimple sized bumps all on my belly. I don't notice them anywhere else. Seems weird they are all on my stomach and wondering if anyone knows what this could be from?

I am currently 14 weeks pregnant so I am thinking ahead here. When this baby is born my daughter will be 1 month from turning 3. I remember when she was a newborn that nursing her was like a full time job - 7 or 8 hours a day total. I know it'll work out but any tips or help of what to do with my daughter to make all that nursing time easier on her would be much appreciated!

There is no scientific evidence as to when a sperm + egg = distinct living human being. It is all philosophical or religious ideals. At what point do you believe the 'clump of cells ' becomes a person? This would be the point when it should be illegal to harm the baby by abortion or any other means. What is your reasoning?

If I use a bunch of dishes do they expect me to wash them in the dishwasher or can I just leave them dirty in the sink?

I am only 12 weeks pregnant with baby #2 but kind of worried as we have no ideas for names. My daughter's name is Evangeline which I loved for years so she was easy to name. Give me some good names boy or girl. Nothing too popular or weird.

We are trying to get a loan, from the bank we currently have our mortgage through, to put an addition on our house. The bank said they had to set up the appraisal and we had to pay for it, of course. Now they say that the only way we can get a copy of the appraisal is to sign a waiver that we wont use it for anything else (like at another bank) . I paid for it. Isn't it mine? This doesn't seem right.

This has been a recurring issue but has recently really been bothering me. I recently had an early miscarriage and I really needed to talk to him about it. I tried bringing it up several times. "Are you sad about the loss?" "Do you want to try again right away?" The most I get is a three word reply after a lot of prodding. It isn't that he just doesn't want to talk about this subject. He is like this with anything important I try to bring up.
