why would human resources not call back?
I had an interview several weeks back. The HR person was very nice. Got a call from her telling me that I was one of the top candidate for the position and then a week or so went by...I called to inquire, left a VM and no call back. I think if nothing else, just return the call and let them know they weren't selected. Is that too much to ask?

My car has 130K miles on it. 6 year old car. I do not see dark smoke coming out of tail-pipe. No anti-freeze combined on dipstick. No visible signed of oil leeks under the car. Yet I have to add a quart of oild every week or so. Is this normal with the age of car? Should I start worrying?
3 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs10 years agoWhy is my steering wheel vibrate when breaking at 50-65 miles?
I initially thought that it might be bad rotors, therefore I replaced the rotors, put in new brake pads. Yet same thing happens. This only happens when breaking at those speeds. When traveling at slower speeds, vibrations are not noticable. Wen not breaking no vibrations. Belive me all the nuts and bolts are tight. I have a Chevy Equinox 130K miles. Orginal owner.

3 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment1 decade agoIs there a way to rebuild relationship after walking out on job?
Several years ago, I was under tremendus pressue from my then job. The boss was extremly demanding and would hover all over you. If you made a bad decision you would get written up and made feel like crap. The problem is that that company was very well know throught the industry and it has great reputation. Is there a way to somewhat rebuild my reputation @ old job, or is it too late? And if it's possible to rebuild it, then how?

1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoHow should I handle it?
I left my employer once for a better job. The "better job" did not work out. Luckly my former employer took me back. The question is....other opportunities are poping up. If I get an offer how should I handle my employer? I know that if I give them notice again they will then show me the door that same very minute. Either way I will not receive any references from my manager.
