I believe the Holy Scripture is written by the finger of God through His chosen vessels. I also believe Jesus Yeshua is the only begotten Son of God and Son of David who will return physically to rule and reign from Jerusalem in perfect truth and righteousness. Until then we pray and fight the good fight. Why would PM Netanyahu cancel the joint military exercises with the US?

Israel also knows Hezbollah in Lebanon has put into place 50,000+ missiles capable of hitting every city in Israel, and Hamas in Gaza has been completely re-armed and is ready for war. Syria has its back to the wall and it may be that the only way out for her is to attack Israel with their missiles and chemical weapons. Now we have Egypt controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood who created Hamas for the sole purpose of destroying Israel.
Maybe, just maybe, he has taken another look at the advanced radar system the US has placed in Israel with the stipulation that it must only be operated by US personal (military) and that Israelis cannot be in control of that radar system at any time? The "Great Deceiver" (Obama) said that the radar system was there to protect Israel against incoming missiles. That certainly sounded like something that all Israelis would appreciate very much. But suddenly - maybe, just maybe, Netanyahu looked at the other side of that coin. With that US advanced Radar System in place in Israel, under the control of the US, it has now become impossible for Israel to launch an attack on Iran or anyone else without the co-operation of the US military who control that radar system. The question has also come up about the sharing of information collected by that radar system. If Israel is not in control of that intelligence it could prove to be fatal to Israeli security.
I appreciate your input; I know it's a lengthy link, thanks.

9 AnswersElections10 years agoDid Obama's "blunderful" speech push moderates to the right and empower PM Netanyahu?
http://www.jewishworldreview.com/0511/milbank_obam...
Inna was stunned. “Jerusalem, the Golan Heights and the West Bank, the 1967 lines? It’s crazy,” she said. “It’s impossible.” Holding her thumb and forefinger an inch apart, she added, “They’ll be this close to Tel Aviv.” The phrase about “agreed swaps” changed nothing.
To Inna’s ears, Obama had issued an existential threat to Israel, and it put her in an unfamiliar place: in lockstep with Bibi. When he told Obama in the Oval Office that the 1967 lines were “indefensible,” Inna celebrated. “Now, he’s our guy,” she said. “He’s the voice of Israel.”
This is why Obama’s speech was such a blunder. By pushing an Israeli moderate such as Inna into the arms of Netanyahu, Obama has strengthened the hard-liners.
Obama encouraged that cynicism last week, when he offered his now-infamous suggestion that “the borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 lines with mutually agreed swaps.”

How does he plan to get any swing GOP votes if he abandons Israel?
I only ask this because I know of GOP-ers, who like Paul's tax plan but will not support any candidate who will not stand with Israel.

http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/267335/americ...
Nearly two weeks ago, Fatah, the U.S.-backed Palestinian National Liberation Movement, signed an agreement to form a unity government with Hamas, a U.S.-listed foreign terror organization.
The government of Palestine received $502.9 million dollars from the United States last year, for a total of $3.5 billion since 1994.
The Hamas Charter calls for Islam to “abolish” Israel and for Muslims to “fight the Jews and kill them.” It further proclaims, “There is no solution to the Palestinian problem except jihad.”
Twenty-seven Democratic senators have urged the president to cut off funding for the Palestinian Authority, stating: “US law prohibit[s] aid from being provided to a Palestinian government that includes Hamas unless the government and all its members have publically committed to the Quartet principles,” which require any Palestinian government to recognize Israel, renounce terrorism, and accept previous agreements.
However, Hamas has expressly rejected each of those principles, announcing shortly after signing the Memorandum of Understanding with Fatah, “Now the Quartet has become obsolete.”

What about the peace treaty with Israel?
Just want your opinions please.
Egypt's maneuvers to reshape its foreign policy include improved relations with Hamas, which controls the Gaza Strip, and its decision to ignore Israeli objections and reopen the Rafah border crossing.
Cairo's 1979 peace treaty with Israel remains unpopular in Egypt. Islamic ultraconservatives, whose voices have grown louder since the fall of Mubarak, have called for scrapping the treaty.

7 AnswersPolitics1 decade agoCan this happen? Obama siding with the UN and arab league imposing a no fly zone in Israel?
http://www.jewishworldreview.com/cols/pruden041211...
The Arab League, on whom the United States and the "great powers" of Europe depend for the moral authority to impose the no-fly zone over Libya, now wants the United Nations to impose a similar no-fly zone over Gaza, whence the Palestinians fire their rockets at Israeli schoolchildren. The Israelis, naturally, fire back with air strikes. This inconveniences the Palestinian rocket batteries no end, of course, and the Arab League is eager for someone, since the Arabs have never been able to do it, to make the Israelis submit to their own destruction.
President Obama has peopled his administration with prominent policy-makers and aides who wear their hostility to Israel like Easter finery. Susan Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the U.N., is a passionate and impetuous critic of America's only reliable ally in the Middle East. Samantha Power, the senior director for multilateral affairs (this is not as naughty as it sounds) at the National Security
Council, once in a fit of little-foot stamping proposed landing a "mammoth force" of American troops to protect the Palestinians from Israel. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is appropriately diplomatic in her present incarnation, but as the first lady she famously embraced Suha Arafat, widow of Yasser Arafat, with hugs and kisses at a rally in the Middle East in 1999.
