I record hours of footage every week, and that normally comes out to about 10 gigs of footage a week. I need a safe way to store the footage. I have everything i film backed up on a second hard drive, but i know they are unreliable. I lost a load of data on one before. I was thinking, what is the best way to store HD digital footage? I would compress the files into a .ZIP file to save some space but they only go down in size by 4%.

I have recovery discs for both Vista and Windows 7 for the same computer. I was running Windows 7 but I downgraded to Vista. I tried using the 7 recovery discs to upgrade to upgrade to 7 as i did and it worked to change to Vista. But the disc did not work. I still have Vista. What should I do?

I accidentally left my cased ipod on my laptop and shut it inside. And apparently it got hot enough in there that my ipod has stopped responding when i try and do something. The slide to unlock button doesn't have its silver gleam, but it always says the correct time. I am not too worried about losing the data on it, but is there a way to fix this or is it just a paperweight? I can't take it in because the warranty is expired, and it is jailbroken.

Every time i pick him up out of his cage, he bites onto my shirt and pulls with his teeth. He only seams to do this when we are walking. I want to know why he would do this. I know he isn't hungary or he wants to be put back because he's fine stationary. I hold him with both hands to make sure he can't think he might fall. Anyone know why he would to this?

My family switched ISP's and the email's that came with are going as well. I have email forwarding to my gmail account from the account thats being disables. This means that i wont get auto forwarded emails to my gmail, is this correct? The account is Yahoo! so this will probably be my last question.

I have 2 laptop sized hard drives. One has Vista on it, and one is completely blank. I have Windows 7 discs for the same laptop (i reverted back). Could I install Windows 7 on the blank hard drive, have Vista on the other, and safely be able to switch them back and forth? Just wondering before i try it.

i have heard that only the 3g is tethered. is that true?

every time i sync my ipod to my itunes, it backs up. if i need to restore my ipod, could i use that backup and it will still be jailbroken?

i was planning on getting another wireless router in the house for my ethernet devices on the top floor, and i dont want to run an ethernet cable all the way down to the basement where the main router is. is there a way i can use the main router connected to the modem to receive the other router wirelessly?

ive been looking around to find a good desktop computer with around 6gb memory and 750gb HDD. i have seen places like newegg, but where are some good spots to buy cheap desktops? my budget is hovering around $500. I already have a monitor

my 7 year old cat is dying of kidney failure and were having her put to sleep tomorrow. i've been making her as comfy as possible. are there any comforting poems or story's that i could read, help keep my mind on track? i'm just heartbroken.

i have an external WD hard drive, and it cant be read. I tried a recovery program and the boot sector was unable to be read. how should i fix this without formatting the drive, or at least access the memory so i can copy it prior to that?

Downloading a new browser results in errors

Me and my family are going on vacation, and the place we stay at has an ethernet cable in the kitchen area. I was wondering if I bring our router, could I plug it in to the cable it gives us and I have a wireless connection? It would mostly be used for my iPod and laptop, and my dads laptop, considering they get Internet from wireless ports. I was just thinking, would this work or should I just scan as far as our balcony can see?

Today in class, each group had to find out how much gravel a glass jar can hold without completely sinking in water. I need to know an equation to figure out how much gravel can fit without it sinking when i know the Mass, volume, and density of the jar.
