    Creating/Authenticating openLDAP on Ubuntu VM, please help!?

    I've created an openLDAP server (I think.) I can use other users to login to the phpldapadmin website and when i do an "ldapsearch -x" on the terminal of my machine, the users show up. However, I cannot actually use them to login to the machine. Yes, I am using the full dn as usernames. 

    Also, I want others to be able to access this on their VM devices, but was not sure what to put for the URI. Do I need to put the IP in place of local host? Do I still put a port number? What would the exact format for that be? I've watched pretty much every video on youtube from the last 2 years regarding creating and authenticating on Ubuntu. I am confused in general about the authentication process, and wondering if I made mistakes. Any help is appreciated.

  • help with moon phase project?

    i've had to fill out a sheet of what moon phase ive seen each night for about a month. some phases have lasted for 4 or 5 days, and a last quarter moon only lasted 1 day. are these possible? can a moon phase last anywhere from 1-5 days?

  • i need help with a moon project.....?

    ok so i live in north dakota, and in febuary i got a project on the moon. every night we'd have to right the moon phase from feb. 20th to march 25. so.... i lost it and its almost march 25! i found an extra recording sheet, but theres NO MOON PHASES ON IT! any help? it has to be the same phases it would be for north dakota. i wanna finish it by tomorrow. websites?
