Even if a packet doesn't say it, is it waterproof?

So basically, I want the PC to start normally to Windows, without the boot choice on startup - then when I put the USB in, either have a choice of OS or boot straight to Ubuntu from the HDD. Any help in this would be appreciated.

I don't want to waste a doctor's time so here's the story: I had a sore throat which hurt when I swallowed for about 2 weeks, then it got worse and I noticed the tonsillitis spots on one of my tonsils. For the next few days, it felt like the normal tonsillitis but on top of my voicebox (not at the back of my mouth) - now the pain's left there and moved to the bottom of my voicebox and it aches if slight pressure is applied to my throat or if I look up.. does this sound like something which will get better or worse with time?

I'm looking for some lovely sights or walks, also maybe some attractions which could be visited - y'know, a bit like Disney etc.. but also some of the lesser known places which will make a brilliant experience.

Ideally within an hour's drive but if there's something amazing slightly further away, please do tell!!

I have an iframe which scrolls down to it on mouseover and goes back to the top of the page onmouseout - but I want to give a visitor the chance to see the page before any of these events happen.. is it possible?

So we're going to have to find some way in to Paris as we'll be holidaying an hour away. What's the best way into the city? Is there a recommended car park on the outskirts that you would use? Please help!! Thank you!

I'd like to ask the user to input a number of objects to create, let's say they're cars.

I would like to ask them how many cars to create and then run

Car car((number)) = new Car();

for each car they want.

I'd like some ideas on this please :)

Added info, we'll be staying in Maidstone that evening so may end up travelling on train from there... What do you think is best/cheapest way to do it?

Is it all just copying iOS or is there some research suggesting that it's easier to use or something? Some references would be nice if you have links as Google has shown up nothing for me!

I was just wondering as you would always probably have your tank of oil if the power went out but you wouldn't be able to use it.. Is there a boiler which can be fired up another way?! If not, why has nobody made one?

I've been thinking about when our children grow up and how I'm going to miss having the fun little children around.. I was wondering, is there anything that you always wish you'd done more of with your kids before they grew up? It could be something really small like read more bedtime stories or anything, I just want to hear what others think! Thank you!
