  • How to dye hair a purple/red color?

I have always used Garnier Nutrisse to dye my hair a bright red that is now faded to an orange-brown color. I want to mix my look up by making my hair a darker red with a shade of purple. I want it to be a permanent dye, but are there any brands that sell a color such as that? What are some options I can get close to this type of color?:

  • State your opinion about mermaids/Mermaids: The New Evidence?

There have been shows such as Mermaids: The Body Found, and recently Mermaids: The New Evidence which explains more information from the previous show a few years back. So going off of the shows evidence, folktales, or your own opinion, what do you think about them? Or the popularity in the stories? Do you or do you not believe in them?

My *opinion*: I have a hard time believing much of the shows on tv recently because you never know who are actors anymore or what really happened. But I cannot give real respect to those who say mermaids are not 100% real. Prehistoric fish are recently being discovered that some range in sizes beyond 20 feet and haven't been found very well besides their large size. The ocean is such a vast area that has not come near exploring even half of it. Because of such low depths the water goes down the pressure is just too much in some cases, so that leaves perfect places for species to hide where we can't go. Why do we have the webbing between our fingers but apes and other thought relatives don't that help us swim? I don't find it very easy to believe some people who believe they know something isn't completely real when so many other species of fish and mammals that were thought to be extinct or not classified at all, have been found to still be living. Where there are beautiful long haired mermaids with gem-stone fins I can't say I stand by. But if there is something out there we do not know of that resembles our looks I can hope to believe.

  • What are the best materials to use for a fursuit head base?

I was thinking about using a balaclava mask for the base but from doing research some people like it, and some hate it. There's also the canvas mesh option and full foam, which one is the better choice? Thank you.

  • How to put a hamster out of its misery without vets involved.?

I have 0 money to euthanize him, so I don't want answers saying its not that much it's the most humane thing It's not possible in my situation, he does not have ringworm, mites, or anything curable. The poor old boy is past 3 years old and sores all over his body, scabs everywhere and his hair on his body is gone. He is suffering and flinches/ cries whenever I come near and has seizures/spasms. Will a lot of Benadryl just make him not wake up? Or what other techniques. I can't stand to see him this bad.

  • Is my hamster sick? Or on its "last leg"?

I've had my male hamster Slytherin for 3- 3/12 years which is a very long time actually. I know that's old for them and I'm lucky he is still with me, but recently I've noticed his hair getting thinner, and when I take him out his eyes will still be "waking up" and it takes awhile for them to completely open. Tonight his skin is VERY rough and I can clearly see his skin and only 60% of his hair is still on with bald patches. His eyes are more slanted but hes running around in my lap like he normally would and is drinking/eating properly. So does he have a skin condition, just getting old, or is this a sign he might be dieing soon? And should I be handling him? My hamsters in the past would just go to sleep and not wake up, but I'm afraid Slytherin might have something wrong. Any ideas? Thanks

  • How to fade black (dyed) hair quickly?

I had dyed blonde hair but did the worse thing and dyed it black in may. Now when my roots grow out a light brown, I have been dying them red but the black still stays there. I want my entire head to be red but the black is stubborn! Is there any natural ways to at least fade the black to brownish without bleach? (My hair length is halfway between my shoulder and elbow)

  • Gothic style clothing stores?

I'm looking for clothing styles like that in the Pyramid Collection or in dark shadows with Johnny depp but for a cheaper price. I would rather pay $10-&15 for a blouse rather than $40. The lacy tops but not steam punk. Are there any sites I can purchase these clothing styles from or famous retailers? Greatly appreciated. P.s. I've already seen hottopic, forever 21, Charlotte Russe, ect.

  • Spanish high school credits online, dual enrollment?

I saw something on the web that said that some people take online courses to earn high school credits so they can graduate faster, or dual enrollment, and i'm interested in how that works. I just became a sophomore in high school and with finishing up my 2 years of physical activity credits, I cant take spanish till next year. Plus I take orchestra as my other elective which I will be doing all 4 years so I cant switch that out. But is there a way I can still go to public school and do online school for that spanish credit now? I would have nearly half the day to do the online classes since I get out at 1pm but I would like more information on this. I'm going to talk to my counselor but wanted to know what Yahoo Answers knows first since you guys have more experience probably. So can this be done? Also, any websites that are good for this would be very helpful. And I live in the state of Nevada so I need two language courses to graduate.

  • My cockapoo can't hold her bladder?

My cockapoo is 10 years old (11 in February) and she was very aggressive when I got my other puppy. My grandpa wanted a dog so she moved into his house about 2 years ago. I'm moving down to where he lives so I'm staying in his house with my two puppies there too. And lately my old cockapoo has been looking ill, not moving much, peeing we're she is, pooping diarea all over the place and throwing up. Today she's better and only keeps peeing but what are some physical reasons she would do this? She has trouble walking up the stairs too but don't just say take her to the vet. The problem is: my grandpa has had four dogs in his lifetime and never tooken them to the vet, he doesn't see dogs as important to take them there and if they die they die. I would take her myself but with looking for a house I don't have enough money for the checkup and to figure out why she's peeing. Dogs are a lesser being to him and no matter what he will not take her. I want to see what could possibly be the reasons for this first and see if I have to find some way to take her there myself if it's life threatening.

  • Doggy paint for Halloween?

I have a black miniature poodle and I know that poodles are a breed that people like to cut funny with designs and dye them but that doesn't work when the color is already black. I wanted to get some kind of white spray paint of something safe to put on him to make him a skeleton or a zebra for Halloween. Is there a brand made for this? Or a homemade mix that won't rub off right away (he likes to rub all over the couches and I don't want white paint on them). I saw this picture: http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m4i29uR66x1qmr7b...

And wanted to do something like that and I want to be safe about it too. And don't say just buy a costume, I wanted to do this for awhile and he won't keep a costume on for anything.

  • My Maltese is going crazy, scaling the walls and scratching the windows. ?

Jack is a Maltese/havanese mix called a havamalg and he has an ear infection in both ears (which we are treating with medication)and he went to the vet yesterday, but since we moved to las Vegas a few months ago every now and then and like tonight he scratches the blinds to want to look out them or jumps up the scratch the walls. Then he goes back and fourth and won't stay in a room by himself. Don't say take him to the vet because just seeing him costs over $50 and I'm low in budget. He also won't make eye contact, could this be boredom, is he scared? I want to make him stop doing this but I'm not sure what's wrong.

  • Costume for Disneyland at Halloween time?

My grandmother, my aunt, and I are going to disneyland for halloween and we want to dress up as a group thing. We were thinking about the princesses but wanted more variety. We absolutly love the disney movies so we wanted to dress up with costumes that are disney obviously. Any ideas on what we could be? We don't want to be the same thing but similar to each other like pirates or princesses. We are all huge fans of Johnny Depp too but finding costumes besides pirates are difficult. And we also don't want to be anything that's too childish with our range of ages.

  • How to stop getting sick so much?

My immune system is very low even though I take three different vitamins for it. I just had the flu a month ago with a 103 fever and now I have a cold. Is there anyway I can stop getting sick so often?

----I also take regular vaccinations for flu and stuff, carry germ x with me all the time and wash my hands every 30 minutes (Im a bit paranoid about germs).

  • What is this illness? (flu)?

The highest my fever has been was 103.4. It goes between that and 100. I feel tired and get dizzy when I get up. My throat and nose is normal and yesterday I was nauseous but nothing came up. I also have no appetite. It doesn't seem like the regular flu so any idea what it could be? Don't say go to the doctor cause that's obvious I'm asking for inside knowledge.

  • Healthy "human" food to feed female cockatiel?

I feed my cockatiel the usual pet bird sees but she is as stubborn as I am and will not eat anything else. I know people say I shouldn't just feed her seeds but I don't know what else I can feed her that she will like. The only thing she loves is Cheerios (which I only give maybe three or four pieces once a week). Will not eat veggies, any kind of fruit or anything mushy. Her name is sugar and she will only eat sugary things. Plus she loves Cheerios and sometimes won't eat her food for days until I feed her Cheerios. She got hooked by stealing one as I was putting it in my mouth before. Any ideas to cure her sugar addiction?

  • Careers that work with exotic animals?

Ive loved animals since I was three and my parents would bring me to zoos almost every month since I loved seeing them. I wanted to do a career that involves animals and that is a hands on job. I was keen on becoming a vet for a long time but talking with the university and seeing it would cost $50,000 a year for 8 years or so to learn to become one, that dream kind of faded. Besides, dogs and cats are nice but I really wanted to work with exotic animals such as big cats, giraffes, other hoofed animals ect. I have researched alot and know that careers with animals (let alone vet surgeons) don't make a very good income. So is there any jobs that work with these type of creatures and have a livable income? I want to do something I love but I don't want to be just getting by. I am excellent in science, biology, physics ect. and are interested in all of it and plan on taking AP classes in those along with math. I am a freshman in high school but want to get an idea to start building the path I need to go on. So basically, any ideas of what I could do? that also won't break the bank with college and the education needed. I don't mind going for 8 years, I just don't want to be living on the street cause I got no money haha.
