  • 88 cressida or 85 crx?

Ok, so I'm looking for a "new" car.

88' Toyota Cressida, with the 6M-GE. It has 170k miles and a clean title. Runs and looks decent.

85' Honda CRX, with a D15A2. It has 414k miles and a newer engine. Runs well and looks nice.

They are both close to the same price.

Only problem is, they are both Automatic.

I used to have an 87 CRX and it was awesome.

I cant decide which one to get, what do you think?

    Explain.

*No "just get a newer car" Answers. I hate new bubble cars. Lawl.

  • 1G CRX swap, SOHC or VTEC?

I have a 1987 (1G) Civic CRX (non si) and it has a D15A2 engine and in thinking about doin DIY ITBs, should i mod this motor or swap in a different one? the car is my daily driver so i dont want a crazy swap. i was thinking a D15B VTEC or a dual cam ZC would be easier, but i cant decide.
