A new friend sounded like fun, but after hanging out a couple times, she turned out to be quite a weirdo (in my view) and I realized I was totally wrong about her when I thought she was nice and fun. I stopped contacting her, but she keeps texting or calling every single day and asking to hang out again and I give her all these excuses I'm running out of. I have problems with confrontation and I don't wanna hurt her feelings, but she seems not to get the message. I mean, how can she not? But well, she doesn't. What must I do?

It's been about 2 months that I've been feeling uneasy in my middle thumb joint. It mostly hurts when I press and hold stuff with it. I also feel a small painful lump near the outer side of the joint. The doctor just touched it and said it wasn't a big deal, but it hasn't recovered and kinda hurts and I'm getting really worried. Could it be like bone cancer or a tumor or something? Really scared.

HP Probook, Windows 7. There are times that Facebook loads, but it fails to load most of the times and it happens on all 3 browsers: Chrome, Firefox and IE. I've cleaned the cache and history and temporary internet files several times and have scanned for viruses, malware and such. Still no load.

An author is interested in a drawing of mine to be his book cover and is asking me for the price. I have absolutely no idea! All I know is that it's his first book. I'd appreciate your ideas.

34 female here. Have this friend: annoying, much younger but bullies me badly, nothing in common, calls all the time to hang out and when we actually do, she's defensive, rude and smothering.

Still don't wanna hurt her feelings. Seems like regardless of all this tension 'she' likes me. Just want her out of my life and don't know how. This friendship is EXHAUSTING. Please, HELP!

I have noticed that my laptop gets too hot when playing some games and the newest one is just a simple finding-object game. It doesn't get this hot while playing other games, but with this one it takes only seconds for it to go from normal to super hot. Any thoughts?

So, this is a kind of specific problem! I make handmade jewelry and I love making them for everyone, but as soon as I make something I feel is really pretty, I keep it for myself and get stuck in designing stuff for friends. How the hell do I let go and just give them away already?

I see through everything. I know everyone's game. I love people, but am extremely brutal, especially when it comes to men who say dumb things, either to be cute or just because they're simply dumb! I have this very dark, bitter and sharp, yet highly witty type of sarcasm which my family and friends seem to like a lot, but I know even though it's funny, it's still brutal and leaves me feeling bad, eventually. Believe me, it's hard not to do it. Suggestions?

I don't think I'd ever wanna get married or be with someone till I die, but I've always thought that if someday I do want it, it has to be with a mechanical engineer or a physics or math major. I'm getting my master's degree in English literature. Is this insane?
