  • How to freeze Christmas biscuits?

I've made a dough for spiced Christmas biscuits (here's the recipe - http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/147612/spicy-tr... It's currently in the fridge as the recipe said it could be refrigerated for up to a week. But I'd like to keep them longer than that, and I was wondering if I could freeze them?

If so, would it be better to freeze the uncooked dough? Or to bake the biscuits and then freeze them?

    Thanks :)

  • What's the best cheese to stuff chicken breast?

I want to make stuffed chicken breasts wrapped with parma ham, but I don't know what cheese to use - Philadelphia/cream cheese or pieces of hard cheese? (I'm not really a fan of blue cheese or goat's cheese)

    Thanks :)

  • What to plant in October? (UK)?

I live in a flat with a small balcony over-looking a river just outside a city. I've already planted a couple plants that had already flowers, but was looking if there were any bulbs/seeds I could plant now as I'm feeling green-fingered! :P

I haven't got that much room to play with and it would have to be able to grow in reasonably sized pots/boxes. The balcony gets a fair bit of sun and is shaded pretty well from the elements.

Please share your suggestions :) Thanks!

  • Help me choose a broadband deal?

I'm terrible with this technological stuff and I need someone to tell me what sort of broadband deal to look for.

I use internet a fair bit - facebook, hotmail, youtube etc. as well as watching programmes/films and catch-up tv. What sort of speed/download limit (I'm not very good with the jargon!) would I need to do this successfully without buffering and stuff like that?

I will be the only one using the internet.

I'm not fussed on having calls/digital tv, however it is something I'd consider if there was a good deal.

    As cheap as possible!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    thanks :)

  • What happens if you return a New Look order after 28 days?

I ordered things from New Look's website a while back and want to return some things. But due to a combination of laziness and forgetfulness, the 28 days cut off is tomorrow and I don't know what to do.

The clothes are in perfect condition, some in original packaging, tags still in-tact so will they just overlook it and refund me? If they refuse to refund me due to me returning them too late, will they send the clothes back to me? Surely they can't keep the clothes without refunding me!

  • Similar programmes to Gilmore Girls?

I've just finished watching all seasons of Gilmore Girls *sob* and I'm looking for something similar I can start watching. Although I know there are lots of good programmes out there, I'm looking for something feel-good and easy-watching like Gilmore Girls that I can just chill out and watch :) Preferably 40 minutes to an hour in length as I already know a lot of 20 minute- half hour programmes.

    Thanks :)

  • Good places to go for holiday in the UK?

After struggling to find a holiday we like abroad me and my boyfriend (21 and 22) are thinking of staying in the UK, so looking for some ideas of places to go/stay in June.

We're not really into the classic 'touristy British seaside' thing, but maybe a trip to Center Parks would be good. I'd like a nice hotel and plenty of things to do. All ideas welcome, anywhere in the UK. Thanks :)

  • Can someone explain The Vampire Diaries season 4 finale?

I'm a bit confused by the whole Silas-Stefan-doppleganger fiasco! I get that Silas 'came back' because Bonnie died and the spell broke, and I get the fact that Silas made himself immortal all those years ago and that therefore nature had to find a balance, but I don't get how Stefan is his doppleganger!

To me that means that when Silas did his special immortality spell - *poof* nature created his identical twin/doppleganger a.k.a. Stefan. But that would mean that Stefan is 2000 years old like Silas too and therefore wasn't the innocent young human that Katherine turned into a vampire? And the fact that the whole point of Silas' doppleganger was to have a 'shadow-self' of him that COULD die, surely he WOULD have died by now (either of old age or Silas probably would've killed him). And then making Stefan a vampire (although killable, still pretty much immortal) completely goes against the Silas doppleganger that could die concept...

Aah maybe I'm just reading too much into it, but I'm really confused!!

  • Is 'Inspired Luxury Escapes' a trusted company?

    http://www.inspiredluxuryescapes.com/

Basically I've found a great deal on an amazing looking holiday on this website. But I'm worried that it's too good to be true.

I'd never heard of this company so I'm looking for people who have booked with them before and whether it's a safe company to book a holiday with or if I should be looking for a catch!

  • Struggling to find a holiday!?

Me and my boyfriend (21 and 22) want to go on our first holiday in June, a nice, relaxing getaway abroad. But although we've looked and looked, online and in brochures, we're struggling to find something that ticks all the boxes!

He thinks I'm being too picky. All I want is something nice (4*/5*) half board or all inclusive, somewhere not too exotic but by the beach e.g. Greek islands, Majorca, Tenerife etc. Somewhere fairly quiet, don't want a party island! But I really don't want to be spending much more than £500. Is this unreasonable? Or should I extend my budget?

Any holiday suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

  • Looking for a graduation ball dress?

It's quite a glamorous event and I want to wear a floor-length dress. I fancy maybe a white flowing grecian style dress or something black and sexy. It's my last university event, so I want it to make an impact!

I have long brown hair if that makes a difference, and I'm quite tall, slim, normal/smallish chest. I like backless stuff too :)

  • Preserving/reworking the language in adaptations of Shakespeare's plays?

I'm looking for adaptations of his famous plays where the original language has been changed and/or preserved.

I've concentrated on adaptations for children so far, but looking for more examples be it for children or otherwise

  • Can someone recommend good hair straighteners?

I had ghds which were obviously really good, but I need new ones and think ghds are a bit expensive.

I don't use straighteners that often, but my hair is curly and frizzy so I need good ones.

    Any recommendations?

  • Small white spots/speckles after spray tan?

I had my very first spray tan on Tuesday. My skin is naturally pale, and I suffer from dry/sensitive skin especially on my face and tops of my arms. I take a while to tan naturally and I've never been on a sunbed.

Everything went fine with the spray tan, and overall I'm really happy with it. My legs look fabulous - even and tanned, however on the top half of my body the tan is fading with white speckles/spots on my arms, chest and neck. (I've showered a few times since the spray tan, but I've moisturised every time)

I'm assuming this is something to do with my dry skin? Even though I exfoliated and moisturised thoroughly before the tan. Is there a way to stop these white spots so that my tan fades evenly? Or a way to stop it from happening next time?
