  • To all Owners of Fennec Foxes...?

I am interested in getting a Fennec at some point. (when i have the means to provide for it) I would love to get more then one, but have been told by a breeder that it is unwise to get more then one as a pet as they bond with each other and not you. I've seen many videos and pictures of people with pairs of Fennecs and so I ask:

Can you have more then a single Fennec and still get them to bond with you as well as each other?

I know Fennec Foxes can be cuddly pets (depending on their personality and how well you raise them) And I'd like mine to be as tame as possible, but if getting more then one will make that impossible then I'd rather just get one and spoil him/her.

A few side questions: If I were to get more then one Fennec, should i get them at the same time? Or wait inbetween? Would it be a problem to get two of the same gender? Or should i keep them opposite genders? (a little boy and a little girl, how adorable that would be!)

To be clear: I would not breed them! I would want them to be pets only, meaning they would be fixed.

    Thanks for your help!

  • What is a healthy/normal weight and size for a typical house cat?

I know certain cats (Hybrids, Maine Coons, etc) are larger then your typical tabby, but what is a normal height and weight for a house cat?

Mostly I'm just curious as to the level of abnormality of my cats. One looks about typical height while being 12 pounds, and the other is a little tiny thing, i doubt more then 2 pounds *then again, he might grow more, only 5 mo.*

    Thanks for your help!

  • Gay Cats and Lesbien Dogs, Oh My!?

Alright, this is kinda a curiousity thing. At my house we have two dogs, both female and both fixed, and three cats, twin barncats and a black cat, of which only our black boy is fixed.

Now the gay cats is kinda a joke my family shares, tho my cat has often been seen as his brother's little play toy. *Horny little butthead* But the lesbien dogs hold true. They never met until we got them, both seperately, one from a reascue and one from a home who didn't want her anymore. They will take turns mounting each other and having a bit of fun. Its funny to watch.

I'm curious if anyone else has any animals who are in the LGBT family. Or if you have friends or family that have a gay animal.
