Okay so I may be ordering a new car soon, but out of state dealers are offering me better prices. Now, would it be possible to send my son to pick this car up when it arrives? I understand I have to fill out paperwork and whatnot, since the car will be in my name, but is there a way of doing this over the phone with my son there to fill out everything and sign in my place?

So I live in Michigan and I might be trading my car for someone else's soon. Our cars have the same bluebook values across the board and there will be no exchange of money whatsoever. Are we still required to pay sales tax on money that was never exchanged? Is there a way to prove the even trade?

So I read on their websites that they have a rule against any magnetic ammunition. Now, I have a Mosin Nagant and fully brass ammunition is hard to come by and very expensive, while the surplus (fmj, steel core) ammunition is about a quarter a pop. My questions is, do they really enforce that rule and actually check your ammunition? I would really like to shoot at one or the other but not if I have to pay $1 every time I pull the trigger.

Okay so I just purchased a used 2004 Lancer Ralliart with 125k on it. Everything sounds excellent and all, but I'm thinking the timing belt might need to be changed soon if the original owner did the timing belt at 60k miles. How much does it cost to have it replaced? How much would it cost if I were to do the water pump and belt tensioner along with it?

If I were to buy a car under my name and insure it under my name, would my dad's insurance rates rise because I live at the same address?

Okay so I have a 2001 silverado 1500 and I'm trying to hook up a sony xplod gt56 to replace my factory stereo because it no longer works. I found out that the harnesses are totally different so what do I do? Do I just hook up the wires from the harness included with the radio to the ones coming out of the dash? Or is there some sort of adapter?

I'm confused because some people have told me that cars usually have shocks up in the front and struts in the rear, but I heard otherwise for the second generation Mitsubishi Eclipse FWD. Can anyone clarify?

I was told that you can use a debit card as a credit card so long as it has a credit company logo on it. My card has a Visa logo on it, does this mean I can use it as a credit card? Would I end up being mailed a bill? I know that with a debit card the money is taken directly from my checking account, but if I used it as a credit card what would happen exactly? Would it affect my credit score?

I'm selling my son's current SUV because it's guzzling gas more than my pickup, and I'm looking for an AWD car to take its place. He's a teenager, so I know I can't get him a funny looking subaru (I hate how they look) so I need some help. What are some good AWD cars that teenagers would like? The price roof for this car will probably be about 6-6500. I'd appreciate ideas whether they're american cars, japanese, or european, I'm pretty open minded. Thanks for the help people.

Well I recently bought a 2002 Envoy with a Bose stereo system. Now, the sound quality is amaaaaaaazing, but the only thing is that the system has almost no bass whatsoever. I don't want the bass to be obnoxious but I want a decent amount at least, how do I go about doing it?

There is only a $200 difference between the two cars, however I'm very partial to the color white on the Envoy, it looks beautiful. Someone help me please.

I just purchased a 2001 Impala and I noticed that the engine fans (both of them) do not turn on for some reason. I'm afraid of the engine overheating on me while driving. Is it normal for the fans to not spin, meaning do they spin only at higher temperatures?

So I recently purchased a 2001 Impala and it came with the factory keyless entry remote, and an aftermarket remote starter. The remote starter starts the car and opens the trunk but does not lock/unlock the doors, and the factory remote doesn't do anything at all, not even the alarm feature. We tried programming it to no avail and we even replaced the battery in it. What could be wrong?

Ok so I recently got a 2001 impala 3.4 and I need to add some horses to it. Are there any good/cheap super or turbo chargers that would run at a safe psi but still give me good boost? I heard that these vehicles can only handle 6-8 psi of boost, which is fine with me. Any other suggestions for engine modifications? Oh and please include sites. Thanks :D

So I'm looking for a new car and I can only spend up to about 7 grand and I was wondering if the Grand Prix is a quality car. I need something with FWD due to the snow here, and the Grand Prix seems like a good choice.
