  • How would you combine the words 'female' and 'tamale'?

So that when it was read it would have the ending pronunciation of tamale, but start with an 'f'?

  • Is there any way to view sent emails when emailing through Y!A?

I see from the existing similar questions that just came up to my right that this has been a problem at least as far back as seven years ago. I was hoping maybe since all the new changes that maybe that huge missing feature has been fixed recently? I suppose it's not something that is used that often, but it is present in every other email program so that it's kinda just expected and a real sore when it's not there.

  • Which question does the following answer belong to?

I think for the purpose of asking a question in order to get an answer, you shouldn't need to provide a concise quote. Your additional details being a link to a whole text is just fine for the purpose of gaining an answer.

I mean, if you were ranting or pushing an agenda, the just the opposite, quote mining, would be what you would want to do. So obviously you were asking a sincere question, not posting a rant. I was disappointed that the question was deleted and I was unable to answer it. I had posted a few comments that are now gone. I hate that extremists are able to get questions deleted just because they don't like the answers being posted.

  • Of the people who regret voting for Obama, how many would change their vote to Romney if they could?

Follow up question: How many of those who regret voting for Obama would rather change their vote to a third party candidate if they could?

If you don't like what Obama is doing and you regrettably helped elect him, and you don't think voting for Romney or a third party candidate would have been any better, then what do you suggest? Not voting at all? Move to a different country?

  • Do you feel a sense of defeat every time you "submit" to Y!A?

Like when you press that "submit" button to post an answer, do you feel how much you are bowing down and conceding to give your time and effort (with no compensation) to help enrich a company that profits from the ads you download as you participate in this social game? Wouldn't it make more sense to give your time and effort to a not-for-profit organization so that you can truly say your time and efforts went to making the world a better place?

  • How do I permanently turn off Yahoo! Messenger from the web page?

I do not load the program. It is impossible to use anyway since there are a bazillion contact requests to sort through and no easy way of telling who is who because I can't click their name to view their profile, so what's the point? I think I would rather turn it completely off and use a better messenger... one that doesn't prevent me from using it until I've sorted a million billion requests.

  • Where in my answer is there any violence or inflamatory speech?

I can't find what Y!A is referring to as their reason for deleting my answer and they refuse to point out the exact offending text. Why won't Y!A cooperate? Why aren't people given an opportunity to edit out any offending text? Why does it seem that my answer is being discriminated against simply because it takes the conservative view? Where is the violence? Is inflammatory speech anything that anyone might disagree with? In that case, can anyone really offer an honest answer since someone will always be offended by the facts?

Your content was deleted for inflammatory speech and violence.

On review of your case, we have decided not to reinstate your content.

    3. What are you appealing?

    ---------------------------

    Subject: Answer Deletion

    4. Enter additional information here:

    --------------------------------------

I am appealing because I did not violate the terms of service in

any way. I believe my answer was reported simply because the reporter

does not agree with the facts or my opinions which fall on the

conservative side. I insist that the answer be reposted and my points

    returned.

There was not any specific wording pointed out as to be offensive or in

violation, so it would be especially difficult for me to defend.

Therefore, I cannot further explain why my answer is not in violation of

any terms of service at this time. If you feel that my answer is somehow

in violation, I would appreciate knowing exactly what part so that I may

    defend my answer.

The following is the body of the notification email that was sent to me:

Question: Why do gay people use illegal drugs, such as

methamphetamines,at a frequency20 times more than normal people?

Deleted Answer: I think this is an interesting question and I just want

to rephrase it to make it clear to others. You ask: Why are gay people

twenty times more likely to be a user of illegal drugs (including

methamphetamine) than normal people? Now to answer this question I would

just like to point out that being homosexual is an abnormal mental

state. The vast majority of homosexual people wish they were normal, but

they are misled to believe that there is nothing they can do to change.

So they turn to drugs to self medicate their misery. Unfortunately the

use of needles to use their drugs which they often share as well as the

promiscuous sex which they partake in while under the influence of these

drugs does help to spread the HIV virus which often results in AIDS and

eventual death. Perhaps even more unfortunate is when HIV does not

result in AIDS and the HIV carrier does not know or does not care that

he/she is spreading HIV nor can anyone tell that they have it. They

essentially become a lethal weapon and they user the virus to seek

revenge on the rest of the world, spreading it to anyone they can. They

do this because they have a mental defect. No, I am not saying that

homosexuality is a mental defect. Homosexuality is a choice. People are

born with brain chemistry that gives them an irresistable craving for

certain chemicals, but if they never try them then they will never know

what they are or become addicted to them. Only people who try drugs can

become addicted to them. Only people who try homosexuality become

    homosexuals.

    ---

Unfortunately I could not post the entire message due to Y!A's limitations. However, I really would like to know why Y!A refuses to point out exactly what was considered violent and inflammatory? It seems they are making this appeals decision entirely arbitrary and giving me no hope to win.
