Our wedding is in a grand 1920s theatre, so we went with romantic movies.

Our first dance is to "As Time Goes By" from Casablanca.

I would suggest they not go for the regulars; they seem so over down. I love Ella, but sometimes it's good to be original. A friend of ours used the theme song from the Karate Kid 2. Kind of strange, but hey--still together.

I suggest L.O.V.E. by Nat King Cole - it can be romantic and fun at the same time because of the rhythm, and even though it is a reasonably well known song, it is not often used.

It is such a personal decision though.

When I got married, We used "Into the Mystic" by Van Morrison...another great song, not used much.

Perhaps:
At Last - Etta James
The Way you look tonight - Tony Bennett

"From this Moment" by Shania Twain

Or you could have them do a search on the internet for wedding songs, a lot of sites have clips of songs that are romantic for weddings and then they can choose something that represents them the most.
