The nicest thing I ever did for a stranger (that I can remember offhand) was the time when I snuck out of the house, without telling my parents, to walk through the pouring rain to the nearest post office so I could fax a page from my history textbook for some girl I didn't know that well from school. The road I was walking on didn't have a sidewalk, so I could have gotten hit by a car. It took me a while to get there, since the post office was like a mile away. I couldn't even find the post office once I got there, and when I finally did, I had to pay for the fax with my own money. I wanted to do the nice thing for her, but I really don't think I want to go out of my way like that again....Show more
