Help! What would you do?

Last weekend, I was camping with my husband and some friends. According to my husband, I got a little too drunk and was verbally abusive to some people. Should I make a big deal out of apologizing, or do you think they'll just chalk it up to my being a drunk idiot? I feel so terrible! What was I thinking?

A: Stop drinking so much

B: Stop using alcohol as an excuse for your behavior. Too many people are using the "I was drunk" excuse, and it's getting old. You're an adult, and you need to take responsibility for your own behavior.

C: You should apologize. Just say, "Look, my drinking got out of hand, and I said some pretty rotten things. I'm sorry". That's it.

I'd suggest apologize especially if these are good friends or family. No reason to have them upset over it and best to be safe than sorry. Good friends are hard to come by. My idea is when i doubt apologize it can not make things worse.

DOn't worry about it. They'll forget within a week. Just let it slide, they have probably already forgotten it, or chalked it up to you being a drunk

i think you should apologize to them even if you were a drunk idiot, and if they are true friends they will understand because everybody is a drunken idiot every once in a while.
