Renaissance Makati CIty Hotel - Opinions? Stayed here?

We are traveling to the PI for 1 week and we have reservations at the Renaissance Makati City Hotel. Any ideas on how this place is?

Superb location. Right infront of Greenbelt 3 which is the best shopping and dining place in the entire country.

The hotel itself used to be a top-ranked hotel, but unless they have recently renovated, the rooms are not as good as the rooms of the Peninsula, the Mandarin, or the Shang ri La. I believe they have slid down to 4-star. That is why they are also cheaper than the 3 others I mentioned.

If you are not fuzzy, the place will be just as good. It is nice and clean anyway, and the breakfast spread is sufficient - - - maybe even too much for those who are not big eaters.

makati area dont have cheap hotels or pension house,you can find a cheap hotels on the nearby city like Pasay City...try to look at Edsa

I've enjoyed my stay and will not stay anywhere else. Location is absolutely the best.
