how do I clean mold off a leather purse without damaging the dye job?
I bought a leather purse, dyed dark blue, in southern climes, and brought it home to the north. There are patches of mold that I need to remove, but would like to leave the color intact. obviously, bleach is not the answer. What may I use?

You need to use a specific mold killer for leather such as LTT Em Clean. This will kill the spores so that they will not come back. Cleaning on its own will not do this and the mold will simply keep returning.
If you expose your purse to the sun, The sun kills of mold / mildew. Then wipe with a damp cloth. With clothes do the same , if the stain still remains then add lemon juice and wipe with a clear water sponge. With dry- clean only clothing . do the same but add salt as well as lemon juice , and dry in the sun
