I saw a awful news report the other night about a 2 month old girl dying from this. It made me sick that it was her parents' being questioned. Is there very stiff sentences for this form of child abuse? It happened in New York City.

I do believe that they can get manslauter. It is killing an infant, and that is a sweious offense. Some parents when playig with their children may get rough or when they are mad may pick them up and shake them. I dont think that people realize that a babys brain isnt very developed and all it takes is a jolt to pull something loose in their little heads. I'm sure it is a serious offense in New York
