My 3 year old HP printer PSC 1500 All-in-one Series is not feeding well. Sometimes it jams!?
I cannot have more than one piece of paper. If I feed one piece a time, sometimes it will be okay but others it jams half way. Please send me detail step by step how to open and/or clean, etc.
My IT knowledge is less than a child's ability to talk at one year of age LOL I know the price of printers is low so those who have good knowledge please advise how to fix or do I dump it.
Also tell me the advantages and disadvantages of wireless printers. Thank you

You need to clean the paper pick up rollers, you can go to an electronic supply store and buy a small bottle of rubber renew you will also need some Q tips, a paper towel folded in half, now open the printer as best as you can take the paper out of the printer to get at the paper pick up rollers, open the bottle of rubber renew, take a Q tip and dip it into the renew, dab the Q tip with the renew on it onto the paper towel, the reason for this is you do not want the rubber renew to touch the plastic on the printer the renew will eat it, now take the Q tip and reach into the slot where you took the paper out of and firmly rub the pick up rollers with the Q tip, dip the other end into the renew and clean the roller or rollers make sure you do the whole pick up roller and turn it in the direction of the paper path, you will notice the pick up roller is clean when it turns a shade or two lighter in color, another thing you must keep the Q tip[ clean also so you will need quite a few for the job, this should help that problem just take your time and be carefull with the rubber renew good luck.
well I am not familiar with that model, but usually they come apart, cover off, paper tray, it may need a few ajustments but usually clean all the rollers with Metho and a lint free cloth. Sometimes you can rough up the rollers with a bit of fine wet n dry paper. Let the metho dry out then when you put paper in to try it fan the paper, it makes for easier pick up. Sorry not much help in pulling it apart, but just look at it as a mecano set lol.
You should just get a cheap new printer. It is more trouble than it's worth to repair an old one. Wireless printers are too pricey, and they require a compatible computer, with a wireless networking card or bluetooth.
