Tennis Shoes?
I play high school women's varsity tennis. I have bigger feet (size 10) and play about 2 hours a day, 5 days a week. I like Adidas's Barricade IV and Divine.

I think that Barricades are the best bet. I played mine daily for 6 months+ and they never wore through. I only got new ones because my feet grew! Also, Barricades have a 6 month warranty so if you wear through them, they will replace them no questions ask. Just return the shoes to where you bought them.
I have heard many good things are the Prince M Series. They are made of very strong Goodyear Tire rubber and also have a 6 month warranty. There are also some good color choices with those ones, in case you want to match your outfit :)
The source link I have included is to the Prince M Series.
Good luck when tennis season rolls around, I hope this helps! -Nathan S.

You can hit with a lousy racket, your clothing might not be the greatest, but if your shoes are crummy or don't fit, THAT is a serious problem. You don't want to injure your feet! No way. IMPORTANT: Make sure that you get TENNIS shoes that fit correctly, with some space in between the big toe and the front tip of the shoe. Get some nice thick socks and use them when you try on your new shoes for the first time at the store. Walk around the house in them for three or four days before you play tennis in them. Why? Because if you play in them straight out of the box, you feet will slosh around inside them and give you painful blisters. Not good :-( You need footwork to get yourself into position, and learning the split-step in between shots is an important concept. HOWEVER, you hit the ball with your racket hand, which is controlled by your eyes and brain behind your eyes. Racket-handling technique, strategy, and shot selection are usually more important for you at this point [high school]. Try to get out and hit tennis balls six days a week. [Example: ball machine, serve practice, backboard, specific drills and/or practice sets/matches with other players] If you want to also do agility drills, that's good, too. Have some fun and hit the ball behind or back. Can you catch a ball with your racket? Federer's "tweener" that he hits while running away from the net is also a fun shot to try, just don't practice it very much when your coach is around, lol. Sportsmanship might not be #1, but it's way ahead of whatever is in 2nd place. Best of luck with your tennis :-)

The adidas barricade four is the shoe that I would go with if i were you. When I had mine they lasted a very long time and they also have a six month warranty which means that at 5 1/2 months you rub out the soles with a sander and get a new pair. They are also extremely comfortable. Great shoes!

The Adidas Barricade shoe is an excellent shoe with a very stable platform. It will stand up to long hours on the court and should provide you with a good value for its high price.

Adidas's Barricade IV is a really great shoe! it's comfortable but the back part is rather uncomfortable is your socks are short. but it's really stable and moving on the court is much faster and easier.
