I'm one Yahoo Year old today. Don't sing me the usual birthday song, but give me some alternatives?
besides, the birthday song is under copyright, and you'll have to pay a big sum of money to perform it in public. I'm looking for birthday songs from around the world.

Today is my sister's real birthday and W.A. Mozart's 252nd anniversary :).
I don't know about birthday songs around the world, since most countries just sing the usual happy birthday in their language. I know the Chinese, English, Malay and Indian versions because of my country's cultural diversity. We used to have music lessons in primary school which taught us all 4 versions...it's hilarious, come to think of it. Though I gave up trying to sing the Indian version long ago. LOL!
Ok, this is a popular song people (mostly children and youths, but the adults sing it too) in a church I used to visit sing whenever there's someone's birthday. I've had the privilege of accompanying little kids on the piano when they sang it ;)
Happy happy birthday (Lynnie? 2 syllables...sorry lol) dear, Happy days will come to you all year! If I had a wish then it would be, A happy happy birthday to you from me!
and...
You have a birthday shout hooray, We want to sing to you today, One year older and wiser too, Happy birthday, to you!
Now how do I give you the tunes...
