The economy of that state has been ruined by the closing of all these factories, that used to make things that are now imported. Should she say that she will do anything she can to put high tariffs on imports, so we can get some of our jobs back, and that by giving her a victory in Ohio, they can tell Washington what they think of the policy of free trade, as a way to lower prices that politicians pay for stuff?

Read it again, the concept is, Ohio votes for Clinton not because they think they can make her president, but as a way to express their hatred for the free trade policies. They do this after she says she wants tariffs

Ohio's economy was ruined during the first 4 years of George Bush.. Yet, they still voted for him in '04.. It didn't work for Kerry, it ain't gonna work for Clinton...
Ohio is a shipping based area and it gonna get even worse when Clintons NAFTA goes into full affect with the truck drivers part of the treaty. Hillary can say or promise what she wants but I dont know how anyone can overcome the damage Clinton has caused to the US with NAFTA , Hillary might be able to promise maintaing the Bush tax cuts to help out and vote for the real wall ( reduce the illegals from taking Ohio jobs) give some type of assistance to small bussiness and help train displaced workers-but then she be running as a Republican I dont know where the Bush did it monkeys come from like the guy with first answer, Bush was a govener when Ohio went down due to NAFTA
No, people have moved on...they think she can't win and so they fear "wasting" their votes. It happens. The momentum has shifted to Obama in a big way.
