Can someone help me remember the name of a vintage board game?

There was a board game I played in the 80s that was fantasy based. It had a tower in the middle that ran on 2 D batteries. It controlled a computer that you would access with a touch pad. The center would spin around and light up various events in the game, such as going to the bazaar or fighting brigands, etc. The game pieces were various colored transparent plastic that stacked on a base and moved around the cardboard playing board. Does anyone have any idea what this game is called?

It is not vampire hunter, but similar. The game I am looking for was made much earlier than that.

Yes, this is quite a hard-to-find board game now a days. It's considered a grail game for all intents and purposes. It's called Dark Tower, and it was published by Milton Bradley.
