I just registered a few domain names with GoDaddy.com What is a good site to build a website so I can start selling my services as a writer. Costs? Features? Ease of use? Customer Support? & Customer Satisfaction?

I prefer the templates to already be available. I don't want to build a site from scratch or just using html.

Try CityMax or Site Builder Designs, they have everything you need in building your own website: domain name registration and transfer, web hosting, web builder, site maintenance and email accounts. Everything is laid out in an easy to follow step by step instruction. Some of the features included enable you to add your own themes, videos, images or mp3 music making your site unique to you. Pricing is comparable and affordable too.
I hope that I was of some help and answered your question.
I’m using a great online company called Sitesell. This is the very first time I have ever built a website, so I needed a company who could take me by the hand, step by step!
I have nothing but praise for them! They make EVERYTHING so easy! They supply all of the online training, simple (yet incredibly sophisticated tools) and excellent support.
There is small annual hosting fee to pay but that includes all of the above plus your domain registration. They even supply the templates for designing your site! And don't worry about html coding or other techy stuff as that's all taken care of for you!
My site is only 18 months old. but It’s already very highly ranked by the major search engines and is attracting more than 30,000 visitors a month…..and rising! Plus it generates a substantial income (mainly from advertising) which not only well exceeds the running costs, but actually shows a very healthy profit!

I don't know if it is exactly what you are looking for, but wordpress is great.
Lots of little news sites run on wordpress. If you keep up with daily news updates you start getting readers. That's what I did. Eventually another site picked me up, then a local 'zine. Just so you know, I still suck, only been writing since December.
Edit: costs? Features? Never had to run my own site, but it's dirt cheap.
Look up some of those sites like GoNintendo or Perezhilton both are just little blog sites that score thousands of hits each day.
