My 3yr. old girl sweats really bad when sleeping, is this normal? how can I stop it?
She sweats whether she has no blanket, light blanket, or just a sheet.

Most kids sweat alot, just make sure she doesnt have too many blankets on. Dress her in cotton clothes to help her skin breathe and not sweat too much aswell, other non natural fibres will make your skin sweat alot. Be sure she has water during the day to replace her fluids.

Hey there,
Excessive sweating is a clinical condition where parts of the body are sweating beyond what the body needs.
It is commonly an inherited condition and can affect those who suffer from it on a social, functional, and emotional level.
Heavy sweating (also known as hyperhidrosis) is a very real and embarrassing problem, but there are some effective ways to treat it.
Before you hide under bulky sweaters or move to a chillier climate, you can try these proven techniques for combating excessive sweating: http://hyperhidrosis.toptips.org

My daughter always sweats and runs hot, but she has heart problems, and those are symptoms of her heart problems. I looked that up myself because I started to get concerned about how hot and sweaty she always was. So if your daughter has any heart problems that could be a reason.
If not, this maybe helpful
"Excessive sweating is a common problem in society. This disease is called hyperhidrosis, and it occurs when the sweat glands in your body become overactive. For normal people who don’t suffer from excessive sweating, their sweat glands usually only become active when they exercise, or when they are anxious or in pressure situations. For people with excessive sweating problems however, they can start sweating a lot even if they only work their muscles a little bit."

This is a question that you really should (and need) to ask your daughter's Pediatrician about. He might do some tests to rule out any medical problems (some medical problems to have the symptom of excessive sweating when sleeping).
So, call her Dr. and make an apt. Mommy, it's the correct (and responsible) thing to do.

Its normal, some kids just get sweaty. My boys are like that and most kids I have taken care of sweat too. Some more than others but I know my boys don't have to have a blanket on and they sweat like crazy.
