what to get a 3yr old girl?
ok, my boyfriends niece is turning 3 this saturday, her parents are buying her a shetland pony for her bday, her dad has told everyone to get her something that has to do with that. What are some ideas of presents to get a 3yr girl whose getting a pony?
they already have horses and live on a farm, so she already has a saddle, brushes, boots etc.

Well since they already have things for the other horses maybe something the little girl would like is her own personal things for her pony. If shes girly I know there are brushes with pinks and purples in them that she might like. Maybe a riding outfit. A saddle pad with colors she likes. I know shes 3 but maybe with help from mom or dad you could buy her one of the little books that you can make a story about you and your pet or a scrap book on them. A breyer horse or barbie horses for rainy days when she can't be with her pony. Heres a few sites that you can find some things that she might like.

In my honest opinion, if the boy is no longer allowed at the daycare which he shouldn't be then it is none of the other parent's business what happened so long as their children weren't involved. I'm sure the social workers as well as daycare staff will be making sure that none of the other children were involved. Obviously there is something going on there & the little boy is likely about to undergo a very stress period in his life & he doesn't deserve for all of it to be broadcasted. There is no need to alarm other parents unless he is still at the daycare. Good Luck. On a side note: The people working at the daycare are watching 15 to 20 young children at a time so it's difficult to monitor what each and everyone is doing at every second of the day. They filed a police report when they caught him in the act so it's not fair to say they aren't doing there job.

You can buy her a Breyer model horse that looks just like her pony. I custom paint them, but that's not good for a young child. You can also get her a big bucket of horse treats or a sweatshirt with her and the pony's name on it, or even a photo.

You could get her a cute horse-related picture frame to put a picture of her and her new pony in.
Or maybe a horse scrapbook or photo album to put many pictures in. That's what I got when I got my first horse, although I was 10, it still was fun to get, and she can have it for a long time.
In my family, all the horses have a wooden stall sign that has their name on it, and is painted, it's shaped to relate to their name. For example my aunt's horse was named after the Chicago White Sox, his name is Chicago (and he has 4 high white sox) His stall sign is shaped like a home plate and has his name on it with little designs, like a sock and bat on it.
Her old horse, Mike was a schriner's horse, so his stall sign was a sword. If you know someone who is "good with wood" (lol) or paint, you could make something like that.
Good luck. =]

Maybe a sattle.Let her name it too. A helmet would be good too. You could also give her cowgirl boots.Supplies too, like brushes. I have a Shetland pony. His hair grows long in the winter and it keeps him warmer.

-Headcollar & leadrope
-Horse books (their are plenty aimed at young children getting their first pony, as well as lots of short stories)
-Numnah/ Saddle pad (I think you can get Disney ones or other child themed ones)
-You could have a look at www.sugar-cubes-ponies.com they have a lot of pony themed items
-Riding gloves, jodphurs etc.

Maybe something pink and cute...like little pink riding gloves or a pink halter, etc.
They might already have brushes and everything, but it is always special to have your own personal brushes to use, so maybe get her a little brush set (I know they always have pink ones at my tack shop.)
Also, maybe some kind of children's horse book?

You should get her the proper gear for riding, if she likes pink get her a pink saddle with sparkles on it! Girls love that stuff. Then get her a nice cowgirl hat with an outfit that matches.

her presents should be given from little to big... like giving her a hoofpick, a brush, a bridle, a saddle, and then the pony.
