Another unarmed "Black Man" killed by NYPD for no good reason. It's very distrubing to know that even the police won't protect you but would rather kill you if you're a Black Man!

Steph08- No it's not ridiculous! When is the last time that you heard or read that a White man was killed by 3 or more Black police officers, or by Police Officers( No race of the Officers included) and the man was unarmed? Or a series of killings of White males by Police Officers in several States such as the killings over the years in States like Georgia, Penn., N.Y., and Illinois? Is this a phenomenonal anomaly only existing in the minds of Blacks? Or is it that White people just don't commit crimes, and they give police no reason to shot them? What is it? I would love to read your explanation...

The thing everyone is failing to mention is that the white police officer fired 31 out of the 50 shots at Bell and his friends.In my opinion all are at fault. All the officers should be in jail for murder. No excuses!!!Also Bell did not try to harm the officer with his car. Bell and his friends were trying to simply escape from what they thought was a car jacking. One of the officers pointed a gun at the men, they never told them that they were the police, and gave the men no indication that they were police officers. They simply started shooting. There is just no justice.
How does it not matter if the cops were black? It does matter. You cant say that the cops are out to kill all black men if the cops themselves were black. This is ridiculous. Yes this is a horrible horrible thing that happened. But just because it involved a man of color doesnt mean it has to be turned in to a race case! Its ridiculous!
I know they will prevail in the civil suit. There was no justification for firing that many rounds and then to stop and re-load? c'mon!! NO JUSTICE FOR SEAN BELL!! he didn't die in vein. What an outrage, They can convict Michael Vic on dog fighting and he can serve time, they can convict Wesley on tax fraud, and give him 3 years, but trigger happy cops walk????????????
i believe even some of the cops were african american. there was another case like this about some years ago. the victim was of hispanic descent and the cops shot him mutilple times and he had no weapons on him
He wasn't unarmed. He was in control of a deadly weapon: his car. And since he already hit one of the officers with it, and a police van, I'd say he was totally willing to use it.
