With some good bath cleaner and plenty of elbow grease, and use a scotch brite scourer but not anything to harsh or you will scratch the bath.

I had the same problem. I used CLR Calcium Limestone Rust Remover and it took off the "redish pink" stuff that I believe is one of those 3 things.. either that or soap scum, I don't know the specifics. IT took off all of the stained color and my tub is now its original color of white. You can also try bleach just to clean it up a bit and keep it fresh. Don't mix chemicals whatever you do, and rinse well! Good luck!

You can use a number of commercial cleaners like CLR or Ajax. I think the cleaners where you apply then leave on for a few minutes then rinse are the most effective.

Depends on what the stain is. Paint, dye, dirt, soap scum, rust?
Here is a site that might help, one of my favorite:

Click on the "stains" tab and pick what type stain.
