I want to buy some French movies I already saw Apres Vous and now watching the Valet. Are there any good action, love, horror, and comedy movies you can recommend? Oh and I need english subtitiles my french is not great.

Jean de Floret(with Gerard Depardieu) and it's sequel Manon Of The Spring are both very enjoyable well done movies.
Also anything with Gerard Depardieu is good.
400 Blows was highly acclaimed by critics, and a very enjoyable movie about a young boy. Not as entertaining as the other two, but more artistic in my opinion.

Jean de florette and the sequel to it manon des sources are 2 of my favorite films,you should check them out and la vie en rose is good too,It's about the french singer Edith Piaf.

LOL. District 13 is a great great action flick. A must see. Also Brotherhood of the Wolf, kind of slow but I enjoyed it. Check 'em both out. Enjoy!!!!
