What are some good French movies?

Jean de Floret(with Gerard Depardieu) and it's sequel Manon Of The Spring are both very enjoyable well done movies.

Also anything with Gerard Depardieu is good.

400 Blows was highly acclaimed by critics, and a very enjoyable movie about a young boy. Not as entertaining as the other two, but more artistic in my opinion.

Jean de florette and the sequel to it manon des sources are 2 of my favorite films,you should check them out and la vie en rose is good too,It's about the french singer Edith Piaf.

LOL. District 13 is a great great action flick. A must see. Also Brotherhood of the Wolf, kind of slow but I enjoyed it. Check 'em both out. Enjoy!!!!

Les Miserables

My french teacher forced me to watch it. It wasn't too bad. The sewer scene scared me though.

the original 'La Femme Nikita' which kicks the **** outta the remake! The French version is raw and filmed perfectly!

Gigi, it's in both english and french. Romantic sorta comedy.
