Yes, very safe unless you take a hard turn at high speed, then they can roll over. This is true of any SUV due to the center of gravity these vehicles have.

I'm not sure about Tahoes but I just flipped my Toyota 4 Runner 5 times and it crashed like a champ.I barely got hurt and there was very little intrusion into the passenger compartment.I was quite impressed with it.They don't have 3rd row seats but I believe the Toyota Sequoia does.

It's big and massive, which means it will win out in a collision with most other vehicles, as long as it's not an 18 wheeler. It's also an SUV, which means it is top-heavy and prone to roll over in some situations. If you get a newer model, it will have side curtain airbags, which are lifesavers (I know from experience) and electronic stability control (most important safety feature next to seat belts and airbags).

My father has a ninety 9 Tahoe, it is totally sturdy and stable! Withstands all substantial hindrances automobiles undergo. besides the fact that gas is enormously up there along with his truck that's why I dont ask to borrow it, he continually needs me to place gas in it.

No SUV is safe. Why spend that extra cash on gas. Invest and save your money. Buy a Honda, Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, Hyundai or Kia. Get my point? American cars are so yesterdays news.
