Water polo help anyone?

I just want to know if kicking underwater is smart. If im on defense should i kick one time i got punched because of it. or what are your tactics?

I always try to play clean. If you play dirty the players on the other team try to retaliate. Often times it leads to you getting ejected. Which leaves your team out to hang.

So i would say play smart and play clean.
