If Govt too decides pricing, for example transport fares..food price..etc..?

Oil price went down many times..still nothing goes down..some prices still going up..is there any control..

Yes govt. does pricing in some sectors, but government pricing is mainlty effected by public welfare more then profit making.

But govt can effect the prices by putting restrictions on import & export, & leving many kind of duties,
