The only economists who would agree with this "stimulus" are those who don't truly understand how the economy works, or those who do understand, and have a different agenda than they say they have.

Actually LOTS of economists wanted a stimulus plan. They disagree on various parts of the current plan AND most wanted to see a much larger package.
