My cat has a sore on his belly that he keeps licking. Bandaids fall off. Any other suggestions to cover it?
I've also tried having him wear the cone collar. He just found a way to position himself to lick the sore. It's not gonna heal if he keeps this up. Stupid cat lol.

If I use that liquid bandaid stuff, will it be safe if he licks it? Is it toxic?

Honestly, the only thing I can think that will help the sore is the cone. You may need a larger one if he is reaching the soar with the cone he has now. That's what happened with my kitty once. His cone was too small and he got to his stitches. Once we replaced his cone with a one that was one size bigger, he couldn't reach it anymore and the sore healed.
BTW, I think that kitties look so funny in the cone. I feel so bad for them though because it would just suck to have to wear that thing. Good luck!
Use an infant tee shirt. Then wrap vetrap around it firmly and fasten the end of the wrap in the center of the back so the cat cannot reach it. Most farm stores carry the vet wrap. It is a stretchy gauze that adheres to itself.
No your superb you shouldnt get an infection in simple terms determine you do take the bandaid off finally to air the decrease different clever it wont heal thoroughly. =) desire the decrease wasnt too painful!
you can get a product from your veterinarian called liquid bandaid...it isn't expensive and they didn't require me to see the doc to get it. i used it for my cat who was born crippled and the ends of his back leggs atrophied. it worked great.
