When would someone reach a million points?

Is it possible to achieve it without cheating?

Of course, it is possible to get high scores without cheating but it would take a very long time. There is a Level 7 member of the tie-busters group who has never asked or answered a question, just voted. The only user I am aware of, that can prove, conclusively, that they have never cheated.
Maybe no-one will ever reach 1,000,000 points. The score counter may reset to zero when someone reaches 999,999 points. We won't know until it happens.

Once you get to level 5, it is not difficult to make at least 1500 points a week, because there is the unlimited ability to answer questions, and the opportunity to cast 100 votes (each one point each) daily. Additionally, you typically have gathered contacts and fans who thumbs up correct answers that you post, so the best answers received are usually more than 10 points

If you count 1500 points weekly (which is really pretty low - it is 700 points weekly just for voting your limit each day), it would take 663 weeks to reach a million points, or about 12 years.

No one has reached a million points yet but without cheating and getting many points everyday it would take several years

Well if you answer 30 questions per day that is around 60 points
If you vote on 15 best answers per day that is 15 points

If you do this everyday it would take youo about 13,333 days which is 36 years?

Sounds weird. But once you get to higher levels you can answer more questions per day so if you have no life and this is all you ever do, it would probably take 5-10 years

When they answer as many questions as they can each day and vote for their answers as best answers and stay on Y!A all day and basically have no life. Without this, it wud take longer and lotsa dilligence.
