ONKYO TX-SR606 vs Denon AVR-1508?

I have a Denon AVR-1508 that I bought last year & serves me pretty well. Few days ago I saw an offer for ONKYO TX-SR606. Its previous model TX-SR605 was the one that I wanted but was too expensive in my part of the world. I'm planning to buy this offer & sell my Denon but need advice from expert users here. Any advice is welcomed. I'm hoping to chip in $300 from this swap.

Hey, amongst Onkyo and Denon Receivers one basic difference you should keep in mind is that Onkyo has Good Hi-freqn output while Denon is good on Mid-Freqn. So u need to take a call based on yur choice of music. Secondly in India Onkyo has direct existence unlike Denon which is relying on distributors for providing for service. u can expect better support from Onkyo. About speakers dont even consider the Polks RM series those r the worst speakers you can buy. Try out the Jamo 102 these r beautiful speakers and they sound good too.

Consider get the Pionner instead, they new receiver has pretty good price for the feature.

New VSX-919AH-K around $300 but no upscale(no need if you had a nice tv with good video upscale)

or

VSX-1019AH-K (Cnet Editor choice, best receiver under $500, best sound for this price range)
sell for 450-500 nowday.
