Spiritually speaking, should R&S commence an invasion of the History section?

There are quite a lot of R&S regulars who need a good history lesson!!

*cough* fundies! *cough*

Or at the very least, people should provide sources or citations.

For instance, how many times have you seen the statement that Constantine "invented" the Catholic Church in the 4th century? Preposterous! (Constantine converted to Catholicism, which had already existed since the day Jesus founded it.)

Or that our current Pope Benedict VXI was a Nazi? (He was forced to be in Hitler's Youth, as were all young German men, and got out as soon as he possibly could.)

Peace be to you all+

Catholicism is so steeped in history, I would be surprised if theological topics were not a constant in the (secular) History section as well.

Go for it!

Jim I agree,
and yet there are some who boast greater intelligence' who display the ultimate syndrome of [thick as two planks].

We contribute in-so much
as there are two types..those who type word after word from scripts,
and those who... ask from the heart.
