Or at the very least, people should provide sources or citations.
For instance, how many times have you seen the statement that Constantine "invented" the Catholic Church in the 4th century? Preposterous! (Constantine converted to Catholicism, which had already existed since the day Jesus founded it.)
Or that our current Pope Benedict VXI was a Nazi? (He was forced to be in Hitler's Youth, as were all young German men, and got out as soon as he possibly could.)

Catholicism is so steeped in history, I would be surprised if theological topics were not a constant in the (secular) History section as well.

If their facts are incorrect, then they should be corrected. Facts are facts, facts of history should be easy to prove.
