Firefox issue....................?

My problem started a couple of days ago, with my Firefox simply going to "not responding" mode more frequently than usual, then progressed to simply going straight to "not responding" the moment I clicked on anything, then not even allowing me to click on anything. Now, for two days, I can't open it AT ALL!

I tried removing it completely from my computer and re-downloading it, but no dice!

Someone PLEASE tell me how to fix it!!! I really liked the way I had things set up there.

BTW I have VISTA, which I'm told is the reason things go into that "not responding" mode so frequently...and EVERYTHING does, when I try to open it! Word, Photo Gallery, any time I try to open a folder of any sort.

If there's anyone who knows what I can do about that, I'd appreciate it. I feel like I was sold a bill of goods on this one. I'm REALLY disappointed, but I hate to lose everything I have!

SAM. You are a troll. This isn't a research question, it's a failure of my browser to FUNCTION.

This is why one pays hundreds of dollars for tech support, and why tech support experts get paid. I'm simply not interested in talking to the foreign tech support dudes for this one. thought I could get a better answer this way.

I did. But SAM, it wasn't yours.

This actually just started happening. It normally happens when scrolling down on a webpage with Firefox. There is an issue with their last update release that is causing this. Until they release a new update for this problem you may be stuck with it. Your not in the boat alone as I know 5 other people having the same issues.

Give up on Firefox until its fixed there are currently just too many problems to rate it as a reliable piece of software. Try Orca, K-Meleon or Flock they are all free Mozilla based browsers and are all faster than Firefox with more features built in so they don't cause crashes and freezes. And you can import all your bookmarks and some of the settings
