Firefox issue in Ubuntu Linux?

I am running the newest version of Ubuntu, and I have Firefox installed. My issue is that I cannot remove my bookmarks. Right-clicking on them just opens them, same as left-clicking, rather than opening a dialog window allowing me to delete them. I have restarted several times, but it does not seem to help.

I don't know if it is in any way related, but my Flash player (Ubuntu version, not Windows- I didn't have Wine when I installed it) seems to crash constantly while I am using Firefox, especially if I watch something on Youtube, then transition to playing a browser game. I also use the newest version of Wine.

I am new to Linux, and am not very computer literate, so please limit jargon and keep it simple for me. :)

Update:

Everything is fully updated, and I can right-click other things with no issues.

Update 2:

I have Wine installed to play Windows games. I have Linux Firefox- I may be a little new to this, but I am not entirely stupid. O.o

    Using Wine is probably unrelated to this issue.

    Open up the Terminal and try this series of commands:

    sudo apt get purge adobe-flashplugin firefox

    sudo apt get install firefox adobe-flashplugin

    It will at first ask for your password, so just go ahead and type that in and press enter.

    If that still fails to work, try opening up Terminal again and issuing this command:

    firefox

    Firefox will open. Go to a site with Flash and try to duplicate the issue. If any errors come up in the Terminal window post them back here so we can work further with this.

    First, stop restarting, it's not Windows that doesn't fix anything. Why do you have WINE installed to begin with? You have the LINUX Firefox installed right? If right clicking works fine in other apps then Firefox is the issue, Id just purge and reinstall firefox.

    Open a terminal: Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal

    $ sudo apt-get purge firefox

    $ sudo apt-get install firefox

    $ sudo apt-get install adobe-flashplugin

    Do it this way, if you remove firefox from the software center it will REMOVE not PURGE. A Purge deletes the config files as well.

    Try installing any updates that are available and see if that helps. Are you sure it's a problem with Firefox? Can you right click on other places or does the OS read it as a left click?
