Just curious? If your are looking for a lasting relationship?
They say it is a good idea to see how the man treats his Mother. Is it the same way with men? Do they watch to see how the woman treats her Father?

Bye for now...

More important is to find out what the relationship between the child and parent was like when that child was still in the home.
Women who had (have) a healthy relationship with their dad are more likely to have healthy relationships with men in general.

I admit, that may have a tad of truth to it. I actually react quite similar to my mom and my GF. When I get irritated, my voice lowers and deepens. Still, I think a guy can be competely different with his mom and dates. I just happen to have a rather unchanging personality with most women.
On the other hand, I believe that the father of a woman has a PHENOMENAL impact on her. If he's all super-macho guy who never shows compassion, that's how she's going to want me to be. If he dominates and spanks her, she's going to want me to do the same. I think women are much more influenced by their father than guys are with their mother.

I'm a woman who isn't a daddy's girl, but I don't hate my father either. The relationship we have just is what it is. I wish I could be one of those women who adore their fathers but I never will be. I treat my father with respect, but I also treat myself with respect.
I don't like men who are momma's boys, but I also think men who are hateful and bitter towards their mothers have a lot of problems. I don't have the patience to deal with either.
If I ever have a daughter someday I want her to be a daddy's girl. I don't mean the "daddy's girls" who disrespect all men except their father, and think no man is good enough for her and that her daddy is a superhero who can do no wrong. I mean a girl who loves and adores her father and feels like she can always depend on him for his love, guidance, nurturing, protection, etc. Soooo many women have daddy issues, and most dysfunctional women have significant to severe daddy issues. "Daddy's girls" usually grow up to be confident, successful and ambitious.
Edit
I guess I'm being hypocritical when I say that I dislike momma's boys but want a potential daughter to be a daddy's girl. Obviously if I have a son I want him to have a positive relationship with me too, but in 90% of "momma's boy" situations the mother is often controlling. In "daddy's girl" situations if the girl is not a spoiled brat, the relationship is usually very positive, and extremely beneficial to a woman's wellbeing, confidence and health when she is older.

no!!
because i know from experience that that whole thing is bull ****!
why would i treat my girlfriend like i treat my mom?? i love my mom in a family sort of way.... not romantically...
not only that but i had an abusive mom so how am i supposed to treat her with a lot of respect..
any woman who thinks a man will treat her like he treats his mom is ******* stupid!
EDIT:
oh and another thing, all women are different.... so thats why i dont treat them all the same...

We see how the women treat the men they simply have nothing to get out from.
Dads work as ATM for many girls.
