Has any parent heard that they are pulling ritalin from the market?

I am asking because my son was on this and abilfy and was doing soooooooo good best he has ever done in his life, now they took him off and put him on Strattera and tegretol. He has been horiable this past week.
As most of you know my son is in a facuilty to help him with his problems counsler doesn't agree with this either but was told that ritalin was being taken off market ? I haven't heard anything like that .

Any one know myuch about the tegretol ? I haven't heard of that one before, any knowledge on this. I just got information about med change today so looking to find out stuff to talk to his doctor on monday .

I hadn't heard about Ritalin being pulled. That's interesting. I can't find anything via google.

I thought Tegretol was an anti-seizure med. The only person I've ever known to take it was taking it to prevent grand mal epileptic seizures. But, here's a link that outlines some of its other uses:
