Reading now. on page 343 of 733. it's extremely dense for a work of fiction, but if you care about this country and are alarmed by our current direction, then you will find it engrossing.Nader is giving us a blueprint, no matter how utopian or fantastical it may sound. I sincerely hope that thoughtful individuals take some of his characters' statements and reproduce them in the real world. Nader's extensive experience in the consumer rights and protection arena shines through. For example, I wish everyone knew the truth about the history and secrets of the insurance industry: the industry was founded on loss prevention (good) but once the companies got so rich off premiums, they've morphed into viewing their assets as endowments and have failed the American people by no longer pursuing loss prevention, and in fact oftentimes even hindering loss prevention and true consumer protection. Definitely recommended reading for anyone with a brain who wants to think critically.

Ralph Nader is awesome. His books are awesome. Ralph Nader is more intelligent than anyone reading these message boards.

Without him we wouldn't have the consumer protection we have now. Thank him for seat belts, etc.

And Ralph Nader wonders why he NEVER gets elected LMAO! I'd give that money to a homeless person before I waste it on a piece of garbage like his book. Please.
