I have heard there is always traffic. Does anyone know how much time will it take me to get me to Vegas on 28th dec? Since is holidays I don't know if I should expect more traffic than usual! How about coming back the day after?

I went to Vegas ON christmas a few years ago and it was a ghost town- no traffic at all. Considering the economy, I'm willing to bet there'd be much less travel there this year.
Edit: I forgot that's 2 days before NYE. Budget 4 hours driving time

It's about a 4 hour drive but with traffic it can be forever. The fact that you are going on a Monday should help but just be prepared for some type of traffic. I think you will be fine since it's not a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. Have fun!

lots of people go to vegas over the christmas holiday period.. plan on 6 hrs (I do it in 41/2) for the drive unless it rains or snows

two if you come back the day after it will be the same amount of traffic....most people take from christmas eve to jan 2 off so they can spend time with their family members
