Can you sync songs for the iPod touch from a different music software instead of iTunes?

I'm almost positive that you cant, but i'm just wondering, because i'm not a big fan of iTunes.

Yes. I found many of my friends are using this iPod manager
called iPod rip http://www.gutensoft.com/Utilities/joboshare-ipod-rip.html
Many of my friends recommended it to me when I needed to transfer all my songs, videos, playlists, photos podcasts etc. from my iPod back to my iTunes.
It offers three transfer features even without iTunes:

from iPod to computer;
from iPod to iTunes;
from computer to iPod.

So you can use it to get all those stuff from iPod onto your iTunes or put files from computer to iPod.
More importantly, this won't overwrite any original files on your iPod. And all song names and playlists are preserved.
Support all iPod tryps, including iPod Touch and iPhone and much more.

Hope this can help.

in case you synced with yet another workstation in the previous, it has to delete each and every of the information which includes apps song-each and everything- i'm undecided if this would artwork yet attempt it: flow to iTunes plug on your iPod touch(do no longer enable it sync yet) then click on the ideal left(i think of it particularly is referred to as document) and flow to the backside the place it says flow purchases
