queenie, perhaps you should be acquainted with the fact that all of life is a game. You either play it or you are played. Most are played, even if they think they are playing it.
I ask questions, to see other people's perspective on them. I made that statement up, based on the account saying "know thy self."

There is one thing that can be said is true -- all truth can open fire on the person who knows oneself, for which one may choose to be closed or opened to abiding: Truth is a two-edged sword.
if it is u that made the question 2 b asked then what game r u playing? if u r merely quoting then to answer the question: if u know yourself, then u should be able 2 accept the truth whatever it is and know how to deal with the REAL answer, so u will also be able 2 see the truth of life a lot clearer.
perhaps... it means that when we truly know our Self... we have overcome our own self-exaltation and become capable of being a student of Truth. We have developed the capacity to listen and learn and be taught.
i do not know for sure... but i do know that it is a Spiritual Reality that when the 'student is ready... the Teacher will appear'.
i do not question this anymore than i question that 2+2=4. Jesus Christ [Alayhi Salaam] himself said, "Knock and the door will be opened to you, Seek and you shall find."
so i continue to knock, and i continue to seek... and i continue to contemplate Psalm131... and other Holy Scripture... and i rejoice that perhaps someday by the Grace of God... i will have enough humility to truly know my own Self. Insha'Allah.
one last closing thought comes to mind... "And you will know the truth and the truth will set you free."
may we all come closer to knowing our own selves... Insha'Allah.
If you know urself truely .........the world is a less complicated place knowing your part,... the separation between lies and truth grows greater, and your path becomes clear...........COMING FROM A GIRL!(:(:
