What hotel should I stay in when going to Disneyland?

I know this is a wrong subject but I get no answers else were. Me and my family are going to disneyland in 2 weeks I wanted to know were should I stay. If you have been to disneyland in Anaheim were did you stay. I want to stay in a hotel outside of disney but really close. I want a cheap but nice and clean hotel.

I always go to

to read reviews before I book. Look for the ones with the most good reviews.. and dont reject a hotel becos of one bad review .

But I would also like to tell you that we stayed at the Disneyland hotel a couple of summers ago because it was MY lifelong dream (one of them), and we had so much fun ! I couldn't even drag myself away from that neverland pool ! Of course there is Downtown Disney right out the front door with ESPN Zone, Rainforest cafe, House of Blues, etc, which makes it a blast as well !

Have the best time ever !!!

Check out the Alpine Inn! It's not as fancy as the "Disney" hotels, but it's in walking distance, very clean, very comfortable, and very inexpensive! There's a microwave and fridge in every room, and it's also walking distance to a 7/11, which can save you a fortune on your food/drink/snacking needs :) Hope you have a great trip!!

We stayed at the Nick Hotel so the kids could get the disney and Nickelodeon effect all in one.

any of them in the surrounding area are good, even the closest hotel is a good 2.5 miles from the gates. (excluding the disneyland hotels)
