I mean panic sickness wherein the person cannot stomach/face the Reality/Truth. They go into
panic mode and start throwing tantrums and cry like babies, wailing and screaming, foul, foul,
like the trolls on this health forum.

In Roman mythology, Veritas (meaning truth) was the goddess of truth, a daughter of Saturn and the mother of Virtue. It was believed that she hid in the bottom of a holy well because she was so elusive. Her image is shown as a young virgin dressed in white. There is no such word for fear of truth scientifically, so u can make a new word out of (as the meaning is given above) Verita Phobia. anyhow good question. n we all does have verita phobia, isn't it??

The phobia of the truth is called Veritaphobia. This is not a commonly used term for it is only in very new 2010 dictionaries, but refers to the fear of the truth. Telling the truth, hearing the truth or just the truth in general.
